Rangers Apprentice by John Flanagan

Rangers Apprentice

Rangers apprentice is a great book.It is about a young boy called Will that is fast and quick witted. All his life he has wanted to be a knight like the father he never knew.He is devastated when he is rejected by castle Redmont’s battle school. Instead he is apprenticed to halt, the mysterious ranger whose ability to move unseen is thought to be the result of black magic. Will learns to use a ranger’s weapons:a bow and arrows,a cloak and a stubborn little pony.It may not be the sword and battle horse he longs for,but when Will and Halt set off on a desperate mission to prevent the assassination of the king, will finds that a ranger’s weapons are not so useless after all.

I really like this book,so far there are nine books in the series. I would rate this book a 10/10. This book’s age group is about 11 to 14. I would definitely recommend it.
